In the field of sealing technology, the mechanical seal device, which is one of the structural types of rotary shaft seals, has the advantages of reliable sealing performance, long service life, low power loss, no need for frequent maintenance, and can meet production automation and high temperature, low temperature, high pressure, High vacuum, high speed and various flammable, explosive, corrosive, abrasive, toxic radioactive hazardous media, precious media sealing requirements. The most critical component of a mechanical seal device is a friction pair consisting of a moving ring and a stationary ring. The quality of the friction pair is a decisive factor for the performance and life of the mechanical seal. The friction pair is generally composed of a hard ring and a soft ring. Usually, the moving ring is a hard ring, and the static ring is a soft ring. If the working medium has solid particles, both the moving ring and the stationary ring are made of hard material.

 

Glue refers to a substance that can bind two substances or materials together. The process technology of connecting objects or materials with adhesive is called gluing technology. The process of bonding refers to the infiltration, diffusion, crosslinking and crystallization of the adhesive between the bonded parts or on the surface of the bonding, forming a physical, chemical and mechanical combination to produce adhesion, which can achieve the same or different materials (including metal and non-metal) connection process technology.

 

It can not only realize the connection between objects and materials like the welding process; but also fill all the gaps in the joint surface like sealant, so as to achieve the function of sealing the leakage. In the mechanical sealing device, the seal ring and the ring seat is replaced with an adhesive seal to replace the interference fit assembly. Not only is the process simple, but also the quality of the assembly can be improved, and the slight deformation and cracks caused by the interference fit can be avoided. In short, adhesive sealing technology is no longer an expedient measure in mechanical products, but an indispensable new material and new process that has multiple uses and can produce huge economic benefits. If this new technology is reasonably promoted and applied in mechanical products, it will promote product design updates and technological progress.
