High temperature hot oil rotary joint, also known as heat transfer oil rotary joint, is a transitional sealing device that inputs high-temperature fluid medium from a static system to a dynamic rotating system.  This type of joint is widely used in equipment for conveying high-temperature media in industries such as rubber, leather, textiles, and machinery.  The following is a detailed analysis of high-temperature hot oil rotary joints:


1、 Definition and Function


High temperature hot oil rotary joints are mainly used to connect pipelines for high-temperature heat transfer oil and are key components on production lines.  Its main function is to ensure stable and leak free transmission of high-temperature thermal oil during equipment rotation, thereby ensuring the continuous operation of the production line.


2、 Characteristics


1) High temperature resistance: High temperature hot oil rotary joints can withstand high temperature environments and typically operate normally at temperatures up to 450 ℃.


2) Sealing performance: Advanced sealing technologies such as spherical sealing or balanced end face sealing are used to ensure good sealing performance even under high temperature and high pressure. Some high-end products are also designed with a structure to prevent impurities in the heat transfer oil from entering the interior of the shell, effectively extending its service life.


3) Structural stability: Through the design of dual oil-free bearing support, the stability and durability of the joint have been improved, and it can work well even in non concentric situations.


4) Easy to maintain: Some joints can adjust their sealing performance at any time during equipment operation, reducing economic losses caused by downtime maintenance.

5、 Usage and maintenance


1) Pre use inspection: Before use, the rotary joint should be visually inspected to ensure that the surface is free of defects such as damage, cracks, deformation, etc; Check whether the sealing surface, oil seal, O-ring and other components are intact;  Ensure that the joints and pipeline interfaces are clean and free of foreign objects.


2) Standardized installation: Install according to the instructions or professional guidance to ensure a secure installation and good interface sealing.


3) Regular inspection and maintenance: Regularly check the sealing performance and wear of the rotary joint, and replace severely worn components in a timely manner; Regularly replace and replenish lubricating oil;  Regularly check if fasteners are loose and tighten them in a timely manner.


4) Safe operation: When working on the rotary joint, attention should be paid to its operating status. If any abnormal phenomena (such as impact, abnormal noise, leakage, etc.) are found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and handling.
