1、 Definition and Structure

2、 Classification and Usage

Hoses can be classified into various types based on their usage and materials:

a. Wiring hose: mainly used for wire and cable protection in industries such as mechanical manufacturing, electrical insulation protection, lighting equipment, automotive manufacturing, aviation equipment, subway, train, automation control, etc. Wiring hoses are usually made of plastic materials such as galvanized steel strips, stainless steel strips, PA, PE, PP, etc., which have the characteristics of good flexibility, anti torsion, good bending performance, acid resistance, and friction resistance.

b. Stainless steel hose: made of 304 stainless steel or 301 stainless steel, used for wire protection of automation instrument signals, as well as for protecting precision optical rulers and sensing circuits. Stainless steel hoses have good flexibility, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, tensile strength, waterproofing and other characteristics.

c. Metal hoses: including spiral corrugated pipes and circular corrugated pipes. Spiral corrugated pipe is a pipe shaped shell with spiral arranged corrugations, while annular corrugated pipe is a pipe shaped shell with closed circular corrugations. Metal hoses have the characteristics of good flexibility, light weight, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, and high and low temperature resistance. They are commonly used in liquid transportation systems to compensate for the mutual displacement of pipelines, machines, and equipment connection ends, absorb vibration energy, and play a role in vibration reduction and noise reduction.

d. Plastic hoses: divided into two types: fully airtight, waterproof, and continuous winding with material. The former is used for propellant transportation, gas, water heaters, and other applications in carrier rockets, while the latter is used to protect cables, such as magnetic card telephones and machine tools. Plastic hoses have the characteristics of light weight, good consistency in diameter, flexibility, repeated bending, and good flexibility.

e. Rubber hose: It is a steel wire braided rubber hose composed of an inner rubber layer, a layer of steel wire braided layer, and an outer rubber layer. It is suitable for transporting hydraulic fluids such as alcohols, fuels, lubricants, emulsions, etc. Rubber hoses have good flexibility, high pressure resistance, wear resistance and other characteristics.

f. Drainage hose: mainly used for drainage, usually made of plastic or metal.

g. Shower hose: used for shower equipment, with strong tension and torque, ensuring no cracking or leakage. The surface of the shower hose is flat, the gap is uniform, the hand feel is smooth, it naturally unfolds, the structure is firm, and it has strong resistance to damage.

h. PA nylon hose: made of imported modified raw materials, it is a high-tech product of corrugated pipe, with high toughness, high impact resistance, good bending performance, high temperature resistance and other characteristics. It is widely used in the fields of automotive wiring harnesses, electronics, mechanical wiring harnesses, etc.
