Operating procedures for replacing metal hoses
1. The metal hose is made of chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel, and attention should be paid to preventing point corrosion by nitrogen ions and corrosive damage by dilute sulfuric acid during use.
2. Sealed piping systems should strictly comply with safety operating procedures to prevent hose detachment or bursting caused by overpressure due to improper operation or other factors.
3. The selected metal hose must be of the same type as the one being replaced.
4. The medium used must not be corrosive to the corrugated pipe material, and mechanical damage to the flange sealing surface is strictly prohibited.
5. Do not use chlorine containing cleaning agents or wire brushes to remove dirt from metal hoses.
6. Before replacement, the process must be cut off, emptied, and all necessary preparations must be made.
7. When conducting welding operations on the construction site, the surface of the metal hose should be protected to prevent splashing burns and mechanical damage during welding, otherwise it may cause leakage.
8. Twisting installation of metal hoses is strictly prohibited, and they should not be bent along the root of the metal hose or have dead bends.
9. After conducting water pressure tests on equipment and piping systems equipped with metal hoses, users should prevent the impact of rust blocks and the deposition of chloride ions and sediment, which can cause corrosion and mechanical damage.
