Rotating Docking Sealing Method

1、 Definition of rotary docking sealing method

3). Rotating metal seal: Rotating metal seal utilizes the plasticity of metal materials to achieve sealing.  Metal seals form a seal by docking with the shaft or housing, and have good high temperature and pressure resistance, suitable for sealing under harsh working conditions such as high temperature and high pressure.  Rotating metal seals are widely used in fields such as aerospace and petrochemicals.



2、 Advantages and disadvantages of rotary docking sealing method


1). Advantages:

The rotary docking sealing method has the characteristics of good sealing effect, strong wear resistance, and long service life. It can adapt to certain shaft offset and vibration, and is suitable for sealing requirements under different working conditions.  At the same time, the rotary docking sealing method has a simple structure, is easy to install and maintain, and can improve the working efficiency of the equipment.


2). Disadvantages:

The rotary docking sealing method is prone to leakage under high-speed rotation and high temperature and high pressure conditions, and corresponding measures need to be taken to improve the sealing performance.  Meanwhile, the rotary docking sealing method requires regular maintenance and replacement of seals, which increases maintenance costs and workload.
