The rotary joint is a very important mechanical device that plays a crucial role in the transmission of media and the connection between equipment. Therefore, it is not only important to pay attention to the maintenance of the rotary joint during operation, but also to pay attention to details during installation to avoid damage, leakage, or even scrapping of the joint due to installation errors.

1. Protect the seals and sealing surfaces.  When using a rotary joint, it will face tests of temperature, pressure, and speed. At the same time, the conveyed medium also has a certain corrosive effect on the joint, which requires very high sealing performance of the joint.  Generally, graphite with high temperature resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance is used to make seals or sealing surfaces. This material is prone to damage, so it is necessary to strictly protect the sealing parts during transportation and installation.

2. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the rotary joint is on the same horizontal line as the fluid pipeline, and that the joint is installed in a complete fit with the pipe opening. After installation, the tightness of both should be checked to ensure that there is no leakage.

3. When installing, it is important to control the force and ensure the accuracy of the installation.  When installing the rotary joint with the pipe opening, if it is a sleeve type installation, the installation force should be as gentle as possible, and do not install with excessive force, which will damage the sealing structure of the rotary joint;  When using a screw in installation, it is important to pay attention to whether the rotary joint is rotated to the left or right, and check the selection of the joint after installation.
